#ZalgirisChallenge. Schiller takes on his assistant Arne Woltmann 0

As the new season just kicked into first gear, Zalgiris TV brings out a new episode of #ZalgirisChallenge. This time, head coach Martin Schiller faced off against his assistant Arne Woltmann.

The two strategists were handed 11 questions about Zalgiris, Lithuania and the basketball within. A lot of discussions rose from the question on how many LKL rings does the team‘s captain Paulius Jankunas already have.

“Paulius already told me that he still hasn’t received his ring. He’s got 13, and he’ll get the 14^th one later. Nevertheless, Martin is the head coach, so I guess he’s right,” – Arne Woltmann eventually gave the point to Schiller.

Both coaches have worked together in the German national team. That’s where they had the chance to meet Arturas Karnisovas, who was the subject of another question.

“During EuroBasket 2015 he visited the German national team, since head coach Chris Fleming was working on the Denver Nuggets staff, alongside Karnisovas.”
