Ticket sales to Zalgiris‘ EuroLeague games begins 11
The EuroLeague regular season is finally coming back to Zalgirio Arena. On the 15th of October the green-and-white Kaunas crowd will witness a matchup against last season’s EuroLeague leaders Anadolu Efes Istanbul, and ticket sales have already started today.
Due to the ever-changing COVID-19 situation and safety assurance conditions, Zalgiris will be launching ticket sales only for the closest upcoming EuroLeague battles.
Together with the Anadolu Efes matchup, tickets will also be available to the two other October games – the bouts against Juventus Utena and Valencia Basket that will take place on the 18th and 22nd of October, respectively.
For these October games, only the first floor and central areas of the third floor – the red and orange zones – are currently open. Tickets can be purchased only online on Zalgiris’ official ticket sales website.
Priority to purchase tickets is given to all 2019-2020 season ticket holders and members of the Zalgiris Honor Club, who will be allowed to purchase tickets for the pre-sale price until 13:00 on the 1st of October, with all remaining seats being put into public sale afterwards. One season ticket holder or Honor Club member is allowed to purchase two tickets for the pre-sale price.
Although the number of spectators in any event isn’t limited, viewers are supposed to keep a safe distance between themselves, sitting every second seat and wearing a protective face mask throughout the game.
The Lithuanian champions are also taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of all participants. The body temperature of all arena visitors, employees, players is checked, and if it exceeds 37.3 C, the person is not allowed inside the arena. Besides that, disinfection stations are positioned by each entrance, and surfaces, all door handles, railings in the arena are disinfected before, during and after the game.
