Rokas Jokubaitis earns LKL Young Player of the Year honors 0

The Betsafe-LKL presented another season award, as they announced Rokas Jokubaitis had claimed the Young Player of the Year nomination.

In a vote decided by journalists and team representatives, the young green-and-white overtook all of his competition, leaving Augustas Marciulionis as runner-up.

Jokubaitis had a solid season, averaging 20 minutes per game, with 8.3 points and 4.0 assists per game on average. The guard also collected 1.6 rebounds per game for a total efficiency of 9.6 ranking points.

Rokas was also in the running for EuroLeague young player of the year, yet finished second in the voting, falling behind Real Madrid big man Usman Garuba.
