Joffrey Lauvergne named in LKL’s first all-tournament team 0

As the Betsafe-LKL season arrives to its boiling point, the league announced its first all-tournament team, which included Zalgiris big man Joffrey Lauvergne.

Lauvergne was a focal point of Zalgiris’ game, as he terrorized his opponents all season long, earning the MVP honors of the Citadele KMT Cup Final Four. In the 32 games he played in the LKL this season, the big man averaged 10.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and an efficiency of 14.8 in just 17.5 minutes of action per game.

Alongside the Frenchman in the five was the league MVP Elvar Fridriksson from Siauliai, Juventus’ Vaidas Kariniauskas, Prienai’s Mindaugas Susinskas and Lietkabelis’ Gytis Masiulis.

The five players were selected by the coaches and league representatives. The second all-tournament five will be announced a little while later.
