#ZalgirisOnAir talks to Josh Nebo 0

The #ZalgirisOnAir podcast returns with possibly the team’s most exciting newcomer, as high-flying Josh Nebo joins the show.

The host of the podcast Rytis Kazlauskas talked to the big man for an hour, paying a great deal of attention to questions sent in by the fans.

During the conversation, Nebo revealed that his view on basketball got serious fairly late, as he was more interested in skateboarding for a long time.

“I was crazy about it. When I got back from school, I’d always get my skateboard and ride around the streets with my friends. When I got back, I’d watch videos. Before basketball came in, it was my entire life. Skateboarding isn’t easy – you can’t just get up and start. It’s very difficult.

The big man has already left his mark on the court, showing up on endless highlight reels and weekly top plays mixes with his phenomenal blocks and dunks. According to Josh, these aspects of the game come naturally to him.

“That’s one thing I’ve always been good at. Even during high school, I was a good shot-blocker. It was one thing in basketball that came natural to me, sort of an instinct.”
