Lithuanian champion Zalgiris Kaunas has started its fifth season with Euroleague Basketball’s social responsibility program One Team.

Lithuanian giant Zalgiris Kaunas has been named the proud winner of the first-ever Best One Team Programme Award.

Another fantastic season for One Team, Euroleague Basketball’s social responsibility initiative, is being celebrated with the launch of the Best One Team Programme Award.

With the basketball season coming to an end, Zalgiris Kaunas and EuroLeague Basketball finished its social project – One Team. This activity has been a tradition for four years in a row now and made impact to 110 troubled and transgressed teenagers.

The final session of Zalgiris Kaunas’ One Team social responsibility program was a special one as the club’s One Team ambassadors Augusto Lima and Antanas Kavaliauskas came along to break stereotypes and provide fresh hope for the troubled children.

Lithuanian champion Zalgiris Kaunas has started the fourth season with EuroLeague Basketball social program One Team. This time Zalgiris has made a big step forward and started working with detained teenagers, who had made mistakes in the past.

Third season in the row Zalgiris Kaunas takes part in the Euroleague Basketball social program One Team. Together with One Team ambassadors Renaldas Seibutis and Olivier Hanlan the second phase of sessions with the kids have started recently at Zalgirio arena.

It is the third year that Zalgiris Kaunas has been enrolled in Euroleague Basketball corporate social responsibility project One Team and has started working with the second social group this season.
