Zalgiris receives new bus from partner Kautra 0

A new green-and-white bus has taken to the streets of Kaunas, as Zalgiris picked out their new bus, provided by the team’s long-term partners Kautra. The new ride will take them to all of their road games across Lithuania.

Team members had tried out several buses, but decided on the highest comfort class Setra S 516 HD in a dark green matte finish.

“In the last couple of months, we’ve had the chance to try out some different buses and pick out the best choice. We thank the team’s partners for such an opportunity. One of the main aspects on choosing the suitable bus for basketball players is the opportunity to spread out the legs and have enough space, which certainly is the case with the new Zalgiris bus. We’ll feel very comfortable,” – noted team captain Paulius Jankunas.

This bus will take passengers on regular routes across Lithuania as well – to Vilnius and towards the seaside. Each of the passengers will have a chance to try out the bus of Lithuania’s most medaled team.

The green-and-whites will take the bus on a ride to Vilnius this weekend, as they head to the King Mindaugas Cup, where they face Siauliai in the Semi-Finals.
